World of Warcraft promised to be up at 11:00am PDT (which means it should have been up where I live at 2:00pm)

Blizzard sent out a new update saying the servers will be delayed another hour, making it 12:00pm PDT — which if you’ve been following along…

I think it’s funny how you guys take things so literally. If you haven’t noticed (which I’m sure you have not) I rant about a lot of things and more than half were more serious than this one. So if you’d kindly get off my post about a freaking WoW update and go bash a rant that needs adjusting.

what you fail to realize is that video games shouldn’t cater to females in the first place. It’s largely known that it’s targeted towards the MALE demographic and has been for so many years, so why would they ask for something like that to be handed to them on a goddamn silver platter?

that’s like a guy walking into the women’s department of clothing at a sears and demanding that there be more clothing for men there. Separation of sections be damned.

the game industry is more like walking into a regular department store and seeing that all the clothes are only men’s clothes

and when you ask the cashier where the women’s clothing section is, they wheel out a small rack of cheaply made tutus, g-strings, and high heels all in bright pink

and then when you go “wow really that’s it” you get called an uppity bitch and everybody assumes you want all the focus on you when in reality you’d just like to be considered a worthwhile demographic since you also like to wear clothes, it’s not like you want some ridiculous getup, you just want a solid shirt and pair of pants that fits you alright.

I mean hell you even sort of like men’s clothes and you have no problem wearing them. They suit you well. But it’s very obvious once you throw on a pair of men’s pants that they were not made for you.

Considering females make up 47% of the playerbase of all games and the largest gaming demographic is adult women I find it hard to beleive that games are only meant to be played by men. (Data taken from http://www.theesa.com/facts/pdfs/ESA_EF_2012.pdf )

After seeing the numerous gifs and photosets from the show, I’d be a fool to say it did not interest me.

I’ve ~~wasted~~ spent two whole days watching each episode and all I have learned is this: I have found, by far, my favorite badass and her dragons, along with STILL shipping her with her husband (who grew strangely more attractive the more men he killed for her) ~~i would be lying if i said i didn’t hope they would write him back to life because i need this so very badly~~. Adding to that, I have a list of men I shouldn’t find attractive, and to top it all off, I will forever shun the thought of my mother watching the show that could easily be counted as porn.
So thank you, Tumblr users for introducing me to a tv show that I do not get, and forcing me to spend days searching the internet just to get hooked on the first few scenes of Season 1 Episode 1.
